What a great night celebrating South Asian heritage at my first event hosted on Parliament Hill! Last weeks Sound of Pakistan: Mystical Sufi Music Night and Dinner was a great success thanks to my co-host Senator Ataullahjan, High Commissioner Janjua of Pakistan, and Mr. Amir Shamsi.



I would also like to thank Ustad Fareed Ayaz, Ustad Abu Muhammad, and all of the incredible performers who travelled all the way from Pakistan to share their music and culture with us here in Ottawa.
